To which countries can I make calls with Ortel Mobile?

What is voicemail?
Voicemail is a digital answering service that can take messages for you when you are unable to take calls. Voicemail allows you to listen to messages, to record a personal greeting and to enter and change personal settings. Voicemail is active even if your mobile phone is switched off. If someone has left you a voicemail message, you will receive an SMS telling you that you have a voicemail message. Messages that you have listened to are saved for 48 hours. Messages that you have not listened to are also saved for 30 days. You do not pay to receive voicemail messages in France. You pay € 0,15 to listen to voicemail messages. When you are abroad, you pay the international rate to receive and listen to voicemail messages.
How do I set up my voicemail?
Call 808 and follow the instructions to record personal message and set up a voicemail PIN code. A personal message offers your callers the certainty that they did contact you. If you do not record a personal message, then callers hear solely a standard message with your mobile number. The voicemail PIN code enables you to listen to your voicemail messages from abroad or from another phone.
How can I listen to my voicemail?
To listen to your voicemail from your mobile phone, call 808. To access your voicemail from abroad or from another phone, you call your own number, when you hear your welcome message you press “ * ” then your voicemail PIN code. You must have configured the voicemail PIN code previously from your own Ortel Mobile line and from France for security reason. Then you can hear your messages.
How it works
Before using your Ortel Mobile SIM card, you should first activate it. There are two ways to activate your SIM card:
- 1. You can call our free Activation Hotline on 0805 904 803 begin (Monday to Friday from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm).
- 2. Or you can go to SIM Activation (available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week).
